Erin Boukall was born in the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she currently resides. She graduated from the Alberta College of Art + Design to receive a Bachelors of Fine Art with a major in Jewellery + Metals in 2012. Following receiving her BFA, she pursued her passion of educating others and attended the Werklund School of Education to obtain a Bachelor of Education, specializing in secondary fine art.
Ski racing for eight years, Erin Boukall also coached the competitive sport for two years. As a pivotal moment in her life, she decided to retire from ski racing. It was in doing so, that she further developed her passion for creating art. Erin is an accomplished singer and theatrical performer; from choir to musical theatre productions. Currently, she is coordinating a local Vocal Jazz group.
Erin has a vast number of collections and is also interested in the subject of food and wine, which can be demonstrated by her participation in cooking classes and her studies with the International Sommelier Guild (ISG). Erin Boukall incorporates her passion for insects with her love of travel, as she aims to seek out new inspiration and exciting new specimens around the world.
